Highlighting the Business Leadership Network Symon Awards presentation is Chad Hymas, who the Wall Street Journal calls one of the 10 most inspirational people in the world. Chad is a member of the Natioanl Speakers Association and is a CSP (Certifified Speaking Professional) - a designation achieved by fewer than 8% in the speaking industry.

Join us in recognizing area employers, individuals, agencies and organizations who work toward the employment and inclusion of people of ALL abilities in our respective communities. We will also honor individuals with a disability who are making a positive influence in the workplace.

National Mentoring Day will also be celebrated with area employers and youth through job shadowing and hands-on career exploration. Participants will be recognized during each awards luncheon.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS!

If you know an employer who has portrayed personal and corporate commitment toward the employment of people with disabilities, has shown efforts which impact overall company diversity outreach efforts, has initiated successful job accommodations and is a champion for the inclusion of all our citizens - please nominate him or her (or them!) for the 2007 Symon Awards, "Employer of the Year."

Nominations are also being accepted for individuals with a disability that demonstrate an exemplary work ethic, have overcome challenges and are deserving of recognition as "Employee of the Year."
